Isolotto

The Isolotto area is a neighborhood in the south-west of Florence developed during the '60s in the direction of Florence-Pisa-Livorno.

In this area there is the Cascine Park, created in 1563 as a farm by the Medici family. The park is very large, from Piazza Vittorio Veneto reaches the 'bridge to the Indian' extending in parallel to the Arno. The park is home to a well-stocked weekly market, a funfair and a number of initiatives during the year.

The Isolotto is a full-service residential area with a lot of commercial activities, and it is especially convenient for connections to the motorway exit.
