Campo di Marte

Campo di Marte is a district of Florence located in the north-east of the city that hosted the summer houses of the Florentines.

The district develops from the ring road to the slopes of the hill of Fiesole and houses a large railway station of the city.

Currently, the district is characterized by the presence of the main sport event structures in the city with the Artemio Franchi Stadium and its complex, the Nelson Mandela Forum, the Athletic stadium and two of the largest pools of Florence.

The area offers livability and is well served by public transport connection to the city center which is still reachable by foot.
